One of the fastest growing trends in the trading and investment world is online stock trading. The ever increasing speeds of internet connections and personal computers make trading online a breeze.

Want to know when your favorite stock hits a certain price level so that you can buy it? No problem, simply set an alert and have an audible alarm go off when the price reaches your level.

“Trade parking” has long been one of my all time favorite online trading features. I like this flexibility because rather than having to enter all the information for a particular stock at the time I need to place the trade I can have this information parked in my software and simply place the trade with the click of a mouse.

Simulated trading is another one of my favorite features. This is an important part of learning about your online trading software. In simulation mode you can easily sharpen your skills without using real capital. It’s a good idea to make sure that each of the features works as you think they should before using real money. Simulated trading can help you eliminate any order placement mistakes you might have made before you became familiar with the trading software.
